MEC appreciates their customers and on September 12th of 2012, we had a Counter Day focused on customer appreciation at the in-store location of Port Huron, MI.

Introducing the integration of our new electrical counter, a counter design implemented into the store to provide one door, one counter, for a quicker, more responsive service to all of your electrical and industrial needs.

Some of our suppliers attended such as Square D, Marathon Motors, Lithonia Lighting, Brady and Greenlee, bringing new and innovative products to share with our customers and give them the opportunity to get hands-on experience and knowledge.

Also attending the Customer Appreciation Counter Day were LaSalle Electric Supply (a Marshall E. Campbell Company) employees from the Livonia and Shelby locations.

Nancy Cooper, Account Manager and Motor Specialist from LaSalle Electric Supply, showcased Marathon Motors.

A very accommodating lunch area was setup for everyone who attended and it wasn’t long before the customers had built up an appetite and were ready to settle down into some good food and conversation about the day’s events and products.

MEC employees donned their hats and aprons and joined in the fun cooking and serving the customers hamburgers and hot dogs.

The customers attending were able to take advantage of communicating directly with our suppliers, as well as taking in the enhancements that MEC’s on-site store had implemented in order to serve you, our valued customer, and your variety of needs, quicker, accurately and more efficiently.

In an effort to show our valued customers just how much we appreciate their business, customers attending also received various items throughout the day including hats and t-shirts, and were able to enter a drawing (no purchase necessary) for a 42’’ PDP Flat screen HDTV.

After an eventful day full of product-knowledge and information, meeting and mingling with the variety of customers and suppliers who attended, good food and laughter, it was time for the drawing of the grand prize.

And the winner is: Paul A. Allen from Port Huron Area School District / Ainsworth Electric. Congratulations Paul!

And thank you to everyone who attended this function and had a hand in making this Customer Appreciation Counter Day so eventful – stay tuned for dates and times of future MEC Counter Days, and come join us and let us show you just how much we appreciate your business.
